The association between cytoplasmatic protein levels and patients’ clinical and sociodemographic characteristics (Supplementary Files S7 and S8) showed higher FBXL7 cytoplasmatic positivity in the early stages of LSCC, higher BIRC5 in LSCC patients who did not report alcohol consumption, better prognoses in ESCC patients with lower BIRC5 positivity, and better prognosis in OPSCC patients with higher AURKA levels. Here, AURKA is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
