The association of biomarkers identified in PD-AML with low platelet counts remains unclear, but considering the gene expression levels of CSF1R, which is known as a poor prognostic factor and is the most important biomarker in our study, were downregulated in PD-AML, it is possible that CSF1R may be correlated with low platelet counts in NK-AML. This evidence concerns the gene CSF1R and acute myeloid leukemia.
