Furthermore, we confirmed the presence of the ~500 kDa reelin species (see Figure 1B) immunoreactive exclusively to the N-terminal antibody in AD cases in a total of 34 out of 43 CSF samples from AD patients across all the APOE genotypes, whilst the species was undetectable in the 14 NDC cases analyzed (Figure 2A). Here, APOE is linked to Alzheimer disease.
