Eleven genes (i.e., DLD, IDH2, CS, DLST, MDH2, ACO2, IDH3G, OGDH, PCK2, ACO1 and PC) were increased, while nine genes (i.e., IDH3A, MDH1, MDH1B, GOT2, PCK1, GLUD1, GOT1, IDH1 and TAT) were reduced in the NASH state (Figure 7B). This evidence concerns the gene PCK2 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
