Male patients (GSE19188, p = 0.006345; GSE31210, p = 0.01025), habit of smoking (GSE31210, p = 0.0009994; GSE50081, p = 0.006347), and squamous histology (GSE19188, p = 0.002063; GSE50081, p = 7.865 × 10−7) were more likely to be enriched in the high-risk group, whereas adenocarcinoma accounted for a larger proportion in the group with low IRS (Figure 3e).
