Besides experimental evidence, YTHDF1 is inversely correlated with the expression of immune checkpoints including programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1), PD-1-ligand-1 (PD-L1), and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte–associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4) in TCGA GC dataset, implying that YTHDF1 might negatively impact the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) [18].
