CXCL12 and lung cancer: Moreover, mRNA levels of KPNA2 and UBE2T, TK1, and CXCL12 were measured in surgically resected tumors from patients with lung adenocarcinoma (n = 48), and high KPNA2, UBE2T, TK1, and CXCL12 mRNA levels were associated with poor disease-free survival rates (Figure 5I and Figure S4), implying that KPNA2 and other Branch 2-specific markers can promote CAF invasiveness and facilitate lung cancer progression.
