The same translocation occurs in adult acute myeloid leukemia along with other tumors such as mammary analogue secretory carcinoma of the salivary gland and pediatric mesenchymal tumors, including congenital fibrosarcoma and cellular mesoblastic nephroma, along with larotrectinib, a selective (tyrosine receptor kinase) TRK inhibitor, which is reported to be highly effective in treating solid tumors with TRK fusions [108]. This evidence concerns the gene NTRK1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
