The results indicated that PANX1 expression was positively correlated with the infiltration level of neutrophils, regulatory T cells (Tregs), M2-like macrophages, and myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) (p < 0.05) and was negatively correlated with the infiltration level of CD8+ T cells and NK cells (p < 0.05) (Figure 5C) in basal-like breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene PANX1 and breast carcinoma.
