In a previous study, an ethanol extract of W. ganpi exhibited antiatopic activity by inhibiting inflammatory factors, such as IL-4, IgE, TNF-α, and IFN-γ, in a mouse model of contact dermatitis [26], and 7-ML (a methylated luteolin isolated from W. ganpi extract) inhibited IL-4, IL-6, GM-CSF, and G-SCF in TNF-α-induced HaCat cells [27]. Here, IL6 is linked to contact dermatitis.
