In this study, we demonstrated for the first time that expression levels of non-BET family member BRD9 are aberrantly upregulated in uLMS compared to adjacent myometrial tissues and higher in uLMS cells as compared to myometrial and benign UF cells, respectively, indicating the key role of BRD9 protein in the pathogenesis and progression of this cancer. The gene discussed is DNER; the disease is cancer.
