At present, a series of important molecular determinants, including cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4 (CTLA4), programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1), DNA mismatch-repair deficiency, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs), have been identified for this purpose in diverse types of cancer [11–13]. The gene discussed is CTLA4; the disease is neoplasm.
