Our study also showed that an anti-CST6 antibody, but not an anti-CST3 antibody, reversed the effects of high-CST6/high-CST3 MM BM serum in inhibiting osteoclast differentiation and activity (Supplemental Figure 6, D and E), indicating that CST6, but not CST3, plays a critical role in MM osteolytic disease. This evidence concerns the gene CST3 and Miyoshi myopathy.
