By contrast, BAX expression was significantly stronger in tumor tissues of all treatment groups (ESC + DOX, 25.36 ± 0.87%, P < 0.01; ESC + CHE 107 mg/kg, 27.45 ± 0.59%, P < 0.001; ESC + CHE 214 mg/kg, 26.92 ± 0.50%, P < 0.001; and ESC + CHE 321 mg/kg, 39.53 ± 1.63%, P < 0.001) than in the negative control.
