Furthermore, several studies related to the anticancer activity of cedrol have recently reported that cedrol inhibits proliferation of human amelanotic melanoma C32 and renal adenocarcinoma cells [39], induces autophagy and apoptosis in A549 non-small cell lung carcinoma cells [40], and suppresses glioblastoma progression by triggering DNA damage and blocking nuclear translocation of the androgen receptor [41].
