To begin with, we discovered that ARNTL2, CSNK1E, TIMELESS, BHLHE40, TIPIN, SERPINE1, NPAS2, SENP3, NR1D1, and GSK3B were highly upregulated, whereas VIP, PER3, CRY2, RORB, ARNTL, VIPR2, ADCYAP1, RORA, KLF10, and PER1 were significantly suppressed in both colon cancer and rectal cancer (Figure 1(a)). Here, GSK3B is linked to rectal cancer.
