To begin with, we discovered that ARNTL2, CSNK1E, TIMELESS, BHLHE40, TIPIN, SERPINE1, NPAS2, SENP3, NR1D1, and GSK3B were highly upregulated, whereas VIP, PER3, CRY2, RORB, ARNTL, VIPR2, ADCYAP1, RORA, KLF10, and PER1 were significantly suppressed in both colon cancer and rectal cancer (Figure 1(a)). The gene discussed is CRY2; the disease is rectal cancer.
