Patients with high systemic neutrophil counts and high tumour stromal CXCL8 expression observed a mean survival time of 150 (95% CI: 138–161) months, compared with 122 (95% CI: 110–135) months for one high and 88 (95% CI: 59–118) months in patients low for both markers.
