When considering combinations of the level of ER and PR receptors, it was shown that for ER/PR-positive breast cancer in saliva, the activity of metabolic enzymes (ALP, LDH) was statistically lower, the level of lipid peroxides (DC, MDA) was lower, as was the content of uric acid, catalase, and peroxidases. The gene discussed is ESR1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
