GARS was found to significantly correlate with five different types of cancer tumours (BRCA, HNSC, KIRC, KIRP and LIHC), followed by MARS and TARS that correlated with three different types of tumours (BRCA, KIRC, LIHC and BRCA, HNSC, LIHC, respectively) (Figure 3A). The gene discussed is MARS1; the disease is cancer.
