Of the 32 COVID-19-positive women, 14 (43.8%) were obese [body mass index (BMI) ≥  30], 12 (37.5%) had gestational diabetes (blood glucose ≥  190 mg/dl), five (15.6%) had hypothyroidism [thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH)>4 mu/l], and two (6.3%) had anemia (Hb < 11 g/dl).
