Strikingly, FANCL cooperates with, UBE2T and catalyzes mono-ubiquitination, which participated in the regulation of Fanconi Anemia pathway, leading to chromosome instability and promoting tumorigenesis (Machida et al., 2006; Hodson et al., 2014; Miles et al., 2015; Sun et al., 2020; Wang S. et al., 2021) (Table 1, 2).
