In conclusion, our research results showed that MACC1 has an effect of promoting the development and progression of colorectal cancer in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, it was found that MACC1 can inhibit the proliferation and metastasis of colorectal cancer and induce apoptosis by regulating the HGF/c-MET pathway and could be a novel biomarker for predicting ICIs response in colorectal cancer. Here, MET is linked to colorectal cancer.
