The results illustrated that in comparison to the blank control (vector), overexpression of lncRNA ZNF674-AS1 is able to hinder the level of glucose adsorption in liver cancer SMMC-7721 and HepG2 cells (Figure 4(a)), while reducing intracellular lactate (Figure 4(b)) and the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) (Figure 4(c)) indicated that lncRNA ZNF674-AS1 performs a substantial task in maintaining the level of aerobic glycolysis in HCC cells.
