Ussar et al. (2015) suggested that transplanting microbiota from obesity-resistant mice to germ-free mice with obesity susceptibility can ameliorate their specific metabolic consequences of obesity. Also, Nicolucci et al. (2017) found that prebiotics decreases body weight z-score, percent body fat, percent trunk fat, and serum level of IL-6 in children with overweight or obesity via selectively adjusting intestinal microbiota. Here, IL6 is linked to obesity disorder.
