Finally, our findings enabled the construction of a gene expression signature comprising eight genes—BCAT1, C16orf86, HPX, NNMT, RAB42, TBX5, TNFRSF19, and TRPC5—that were strongly associated with the clinical characteristics of GBM and showed good prognostic accuracy in both the CGGA and TCGA datasets. Here, TNFRSF19 is linked to glioblastoma.
