A retrospective study of 5408 subjects found a strong dose-response relationship (OR 2.8, 95% CI 1.3–5.8) between MONO and VTE (24), and it is now believed that monocytes was involved in thrombosis (34) and thrombolysis (35) through tissue factor expression, which is consistent with the results of our MR analysis, that the absolute level of monocytes was causally related to VTE, while the percentage of monocytes is not. Here, F3 is linked to Venous thrombosis.
