ROC curve analyses revealed greater AUC values in discriminating NSCLC from COPD and pneumonia for TP73‐AS1 (0.810 for NSCLC vs. COPD and 0.798 for NSCLC vs. pneumonia) and CRNDE (0.783 for NSCLC vs. COPD and 0.785 for NSCLC vs. pneumonia) when compared with CEA (0.743 and 0.761, respectively) and CYFRA21‐1 (0.732 and 0.704, respectively; Figure 4C,D). This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
