Here, we mainly investigated the role of PAQR3 in GCA progression, demonstrated that PAQR3 is low expressed in GCA tissues and PAQR3 has an inhibitory function on the proliferation, migration, and invasion of HCG27 cells in vitro; further clarified that PAQR3 can inhibit the EMT process by inhibiting the activation of TGF‐β/Smad signaling pathway. Here, TGFB1 is linked to temporal arteritis.
