EGFR and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Although it has been reported that patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC could achieve clinical benefits of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) agents, the unique characteristics of TME of EGFR-mutated NSCLC such as metabolism, general immune status, immune cell infiltration, cytokines and soluble molecules affect the efficacy of ICIs in the patients with EGFR-mutated NSCLC.
