In RB, circ-FAM158A and SLC7A5 were overexpressed, while miR-138-5p was down-regulated. Circ-FAM158A silencing inhibited RB cell growth, invasion, and migration while promoting G0/G1 cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. Circ-FAM158A acted as an oncogene in the RB by sponging miR-138-5p, which regulated SLC7A5 expression. This evidence concerns the gene RB1 and retinoblastoma.
