USP28 and glioblastoma: In glioblastoma, upregulation of FBXW7-185aa suppressed proliferation and cell cycle progression, as well as reduced the half-life of c-Myc by antagonizing USP28-induced c-Myc stabilization, while knockdown of FBXW7-185aa increased malignant phenotypes both in vitro and in vivo, as previously reported (79).
