Immune-related SLE genes were mainly involved in biological processes including immune response-activating cell surface receptor signaling pathway, immune response-regulating signaling pathway, antigen receptor-mediated signaling pathway, and T cell receptor signaling pathway; they also regulated Th17 cell differentiation, Th1 and Th2 cell differentiation, IL-17 signaling pathway, NF-kappa B signaling pathway, and VEGF signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and systemic lupus erythematosus.
