These results are consistent with the report that FOXS1 expression was inversely correlated with the expression of epithelial markers (E-cadherin) and positively correlated with the expression of mesenchymal markers (Vimentin and N-cadherin) in gastric and hepatocellular Carcinoma cells [8, 9]. The gene discussed is FOXS1; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
