Hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) analysis of tumors harvested from mice treated with anti-CD29 showed a macroscopic reduction and a well-defined and less invasive tumor when observed under low magnification (40×) compared to control animals, which showed highly invasive tumors with neoplastic infiltration of muscle bundles and subcutaneous adipose tissue (data non shown). This evidence concerns the gene ITGB1 and neoplasm.
