Taking our observations together, considering the similar features of GmSNAP11 and GmSNAP18, we propose that the mechanism by which GmSNAP11 confers resistance to SCN is similar to that employed by GmSNAP18. We demonstrated that overexpressing GmSNAP (GmSNAP11 and GmSNAP18) in the susceptible RIL (rhg1+Rhg4+rhg1-paralog–) reduced the cyst number (elevated resistance) when inoculated with SCN4. Here, G6PC3 is linked to severe congenital neutropenia.
