IFNA2 and COVID-19: Plasma (diluted 1/10) from seven of the 10 individuals with these auto-Abs neutralized a high concentration (10 ng/mL) of both IFN-α2 and IFN-ω, consistent with unvaccinated individuals carrying such auto-Abs being at the greatest risk of critical COVID-19 among individuals carrying any combinations of auto-Abs to type I IFNs (22, 23, 30).
