42 ferroptosis markers were reported, and GPX4, NOX1 and ACSL4 were candidate prognostic markers in colorectal cancer; Ferroptosis score based on expression of GPX4, NOX1 and ACSL4 could effectively reflect prognosis, tumor progression and adjuvant chemotherapy; Tumor with low ferroptosis score tend to be infiltrated with more CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells and less M1 macrophage; IFN‐γ was potentially the central molecule at the crossroad between ferroptosis and onco‐immune response. This evidence concerns the gene ACSL4 and colorectal cancer.
