FGF7 and hemorrhagic cystitis: In addition, several disease‐causing mutations/variants in the FGF7/10/FGFR2IIIb family have been described (Belov & Mohammadi, 2013; Itoh & Ornitz, 2011; Zinkle & Mohammadi, 2019) and as such, these individuals could be at heightened risk for life‐threatening hemorrhagic cystitis or urothelial cancer risk later in life if exposed to cyclophosphamide.
