When comparing AML patients with low- and high-expressed siglec9, there were a total of 1523 genes that were significantly differentially expressed (|log2(FC)|> 1.5 and p.adj < 0.05), with 1021 genes up-regulated and 502 genes down-regulated in the high siglec9 expression group (Fig. 6A). The gene discussed is SIGLEC9; the disease is acute myeloid leukemia.
