XRCC1 and neoplasm: As expected, patients whose tumours had low XRCC1/low Mre11 co-expression (22.8%) had better progression free survival (p = 0.014, Fig. 5I) and overall survival (p = 0.005, Fig. 5j) compared to tumours that had high XRCC1/high Mre11 co-expression (48.7%).
