Type IIb autoimmune urticaria is defined by IgG anti‐IgE or FcεRI, a positive Basophil Activation Test (BAT), and a positive ASST and has been shown to respond better to Cs-A treatment.8, 9, 10, 11 The authors also found that patients with high CRP levels responded better to Cs-A, which is a finding, reported in previous studies.12 This evidence concerns the gene IGHE and autoimmune urticaria.
