HSPA5 and endometrial cancer: Moreover, GPX4 has been recognized as a potential target for many genes; heatshock 70-kDa protein 5 (HSPA5) bound to GPX4 and inhibited its protein degradation, thus promoting the initiation of endometrial cancer (Zhu et al., 2017), and protein tyrosine phosphatase non-receptor type 18 (PTPN18) targeted and activated the p-P38-GPX4/xCT signaling pathway, which also contributed to the initiation of endometrial cancer (Wang et al., 2021a).
