In this paper, two aspects are discussed: first, the changes of macrophage metabolism including glycolysis and TCA cycle in sepsis are summarized; next, we review the key enzymes and metabolites of altered cell metabolism that affect macrophage immune status by regulating NLRP3 inflammasome activation and other mechanisms; besides, the potential drugs targeted the immune metabolism to treat sepsis are summarized. This evidence concerns the gene NLRP3 and Sepsis.
