In this context, we have previously uncovered the anti-invasive role of NFAT3 in luminal breast cancer (4) and shown that extracellular vesicles (EVs) produced by NFAT3-expressing luminal breast cancer cells were competent to prevent tumor growth and restrain metastases spreading in a murine triple- negative breast cancer model (7). The gene discussed is NFATC4; the disease is triple-negative breast carcinoma.
