Abundant T-cell infiltrates with AQP3 expression in the skin of the atopic dermatitis and psoriatic lesions, suggesting an important role of AQP3-mediated T-cell migration to the skin and novel therapeutic strategy for controlling unwanted immune reactions in the skin, including atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, and other autoimmune diseases can be expected in the future (116).
