According to the multivariate COX model, after considering other factors (age, stage, regimens, cycles, neoadjuvant chemotherapy, surgical outcome (R0/R1/R2), thrombosis, family history of cancer, pathological type), pathogenic BRCA variants (including BRCA1 and BRCA2) were not correlated with the occurrence of adverse reactions during the initial treatment of ovarian cancer (P>0.05). This evidence concerns the gene BRCA1 and cancer.
