Combined with the core protein targets analyzed in the previous network pharmacology (mainly ESR1, EGFR, PTGS2, MMP9, MMP2, PPARG, etc.), we speculate that the subcellular pathways that may play a role in inhibiting colon cancer proliferation, invasion, and migration are EGFR-associated signaling pathways (EGFR/Raf/MEK/ERK cascades) and PPAR signaling pathway.
