NF-κB in the kidney tissue of the DM and DKD groups was upregulated; NF-κB expression in the DKD group was higher than that in the DM group, and the difference was statistically significant (all P< 0.05) (see Figure 5A).In the DM group, a small amount of glomerular stroma and mild connective tissue hyperplasia can be seen in the interstitium, and blood vessels and capillaries are congested.
