In our study, PSMG3 AS1 was highly expressed in NAFLD and was predicted to bind miR-143-3p, miR-574-5p, miR-134-5p to affect the expression of BAX, CTSD and FADD, which are autophagy-related genes, involved in the pathogenesis and progression of NAFLD. The gene discussed is CTSD; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
