The LASSO regression model was constructed and ROC curves were drawn for the training, validation, and combined sets, and the AUC values were all larger than 0.8, indicating the superior capability of using six DEGs (namely, DCLK1, FPR1, GZMB, MZB1, PPBP, and RASSF6) as biomarkers for distinguishing CAVD patients. Here, MZB1 is linked to congenital bilateral aplasia of vas deferens from CFTR mutation.
