To connect our discovery to clinical application, we evaluated the expression level of ZEB1 and O-GlcNAcylation based on the information in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database and found that the expression level of ZEB1 and O-GlcNAcylation was significantly up-regulated in the tumor tissues compared with their adjacent normal tissues in pancreatic tumor (Figure 7H).
